DANVILLE – Carle Clinic – Danville on Vermilion announces the addition of Samatha Tipirneni, MD, who joined the staff of Carle Spine Institute in Urbana and will see patients in Danville on Tuesdays. She specializes in non-surgical management of back and neck pain, and comes to Danville at a time when this specialty is in high demand.

A Danville native, Dr. Tipirneni said she is happy to have the chance to return to the area. “I felt I should use my skills and training to serve the people who have molded me into who I am today,” she said.

Dr. Tipirneni completed an interventional pain fellowship at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Ga., and was chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. She will begin seeing patients in Danville on March 24.
