URBANA – Beginning the week of November 3, 2008, patient drop-off and valet parking will relocate to Carle Clinic South. At that time the Carle Shuttle will discontinue the route to Carle Clinic South.

Patients and visitors can access patient drop-off, valet parking and self-parking by turning south on McCullough Street from University Avenue. A new covered walkway between South Parking Garage, Carle Cancer Center and Mills Breast Cancer Institute and Carle Clinic South offers protection from the elements and a more direct pathway to Carle Clinic services.

Patients and visitors can continue to park in the Champaign County Fairgrounds free of charge, and ride the Carle Shuttle to Carle Clinic North, using the third floor walkway or underground tunnel to Carle Clinic South.

The reroute will accommodate construction of a new southwest lobby for Carle Clinic South, which will house a coffee shop, information desk and waiting area.
