Christine Perks, MD, has joined the Cardiology staff at Carle Clinic in Urbana.  

Dr. Perks completed a cardiology fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General, Park Ridge, Ill., and a residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria, Ill. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Ill., and Illinois State University, Normal, Ill.

Dr. Perks is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Echocardiography. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Adult Congenital Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
