NEW YORK, April 15, 2008 - GlobalOptions Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOI), a leading provider of domestic and international risk management services, today announced that James Lee Witt Associates, Crisis Management and Preparedness Division, has been awarded a one-year contract to provide disaster preparedness and business recovery planning assistance for Carle Clinic Association based in Urbana, Ill.

GlobalOptions Group’s James Lee Witt Associates (JLWA) will work with Carle Clinic officials to develop an all-hazards preparedness plan and business recovery plan that focus on strong communication, collaboration and coordination between Carle Clinic and external stakeholders who play an integral role in successful outcomes. The project will examine notification systems, back-up procedures and other factors that help ensure sufficient healthcare providers, supplies and equipment are available to deliver care to area residents in an emergency situation.
