Ten Carle Clinic physicians were recently appointed to Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) councils. They join 200 physicians from across the state serving on 11 committees.
The Illinois State Medical Society, comprised of licensed, practicing physicians, reviews medical-related legislation for the State. Serving as a medical resource and advocate for both physicians and patients, the Society also educates lawmakers about the potential impact of pending legislation.
