URBANA – In a recent perception study, Carle Foundation Hospital medical staff made note of the excellent service they receive from Carle Clinic’s Lab and Radiology Departments. When compared with other physicians’ perceptions of Lab and Radiology Departments across the country, Carle Clinic ranked among the top in the nation.
Professional Research Consultants conducted phone interviews with more than 150 Carle Foundation Hospital medical staff members. It was the Lab and Radiology Department’s readily available testing and timely results that earned them a score of 98.4% and 85.4% excellent, respectively.
The results of the study are significant for Carle Clinic and Carle Foundation Hospital. Physicians believe it’s a great place to practice and patients can have confidence in the quality of care they receive--care that’s backed up with reliable diagnostic services.
Carle Foundation Hospital’s Vice President of Clinical Operations Lynne Barnes recognized the Carle Clinic departments with awards.
“We are pleased to partner with Carle Clinic to provide services that are effective and efficient and contribute to driving the quality of care that we expect, and our patients expect, at Carle Foundation Hospital.”
Carle Foundation Hospital has an open medical staff, extending privileges to all qualified candidates. While the majority of the 472 medical staff members are Carle Clinic physicians, the Hospital’s patients are also cared for by Christie Clinic physicians and independent physicians from throughout the region.
