URBANA – Carle Clinic's "Carle Cancer Fighters" multimedia ad campaign, featuring real patients sharing stories of their triumph over cancer, has received numerous national marketing awards.
With more than 3,500 entries from every state and multiple foreign countries, the Healthcare Advertising Awards – the oldest and largest advertising awards competition – presented the campaign with six awards, including a gold for the radio commercials, two silvers, two bronze and a merit.
The campaign also won five Aster Awards, including golds for carlecancerfighters.com and a billboard, two silvers and a bronze. The international competition, hosted by Creative Images, Inc., recognizes excellence in healthcare marketing and advertising.
Carle Clinic partnered with The Jackson Group, one of the largest marketing communications firms in the Midwest, to produce “Carle Cancer Fighters.” Launched summer 2007, the campaign includes print, outdoor, web, brochure, radio and television.
