For the second year, Carle Clinic will present Pink Perks cards to women who receive a mammogram now through September 2009. Presented at Carle Clinic’s main campus in Urbana and Carle Clinic – Danville on Fairchild, the cards feature special savings from local businesses who partner with the Clinic to encourage women to get this important screening. The number of Pink Perks partners has nearly doubled since the program’s inception last year.

Carle Clinic Breast Imaging performed approximately 34,000 mammograms at three locations last year. In 2008, the department moved to Mills Breast Cancer Institute, implemented digital mammography and hired two radiologists, each fellowship trained in breast imaging.
