Carle Clinic – Monticello will host its annual community flu clinic on the following dates:
Carle Clinic – Monticello 1109 N. State Street, Monticello (217) 762-2518 Flu shot and pneumovax vaccines for ages 6 months and older Thursday, October 30, from 4:30 – 7 p.m. Thursday, November 13, from 4:30 – 7 p.m.
St. Philomena’s Church 1301 N. Market Street, Monticello Flu shot for ages 18 years and older, drive-thru clinic Wednesday, October 15, from 8 – 11:30 a.m.
The Centers for Disease Control recommend flu vaccines for persons age 18 and older, though some Carle Clinic locations specify minimum age requirements.
Flu shots cost $30 and pneumovax $50. No appointment is necessary to receive a vaccination. Carle Clinic patients may choose direct billing and must bring their clinic number and insurance card to do so. Medicare patients must bring their Medicare cards. Otherwise, payment by cash or check will be required at the time of service.
