Heart Failure Clinic

Carle Heart and Vascular Institute takes a proactive approach to prevention and treatment of congestive heart failure. The Carle Heart Failure Clinic helps patients recognize early signs of congestive heart failure and seek treatment, as ignoring early symptoms can lead to an emergency situation. Patients who have been diagnosed with heart failure can ask their physician to refer them to this center.

  • Cardiac clinical nurse specialist counseling and coordination of care
  • Dietary consultation
  • Medication review and instruction
  • Patient and family education
  • Referrals to support services as needed
