CHAMPAIGN-URBANA

Known as a city at the corner of progress and history, Danville is located about 30 miles east of Champaign-Urbana on the Illinois/Indiana border in Vermilion County, Ill. Danville residents access the past at renovated historical sites and enjoy the present at theater, art, music, sporting events and the city's 15,000 acres of parks. RANTOUL
Just minutes from Champaign-Urbana on Interstate 57, Rantoul is an evolving community with a history in proud Air Force tradition. Home of Chanute Air Force Base from 1917 to 1993, Rantoul residents retain their love of flight, hosting international skydiving events, balloon shows and exploring the Chanute Air Museum. Rantoul is also home to the Half Century of Progress farm show and the University of Illinois training camp, Camp Rantoul.

MAHOMET
Settled in 1832 on the banks of the Sangamon River, Mahomet is the oldest community in Champaign County. With a population just under 5,000, Mahomet boasts the award-winning Hartwell C. Howard Golf Course, Lake of the Woods Park and River Bend Forrest Preserve.
